This tour starts outside the Medina and includes some must-see highlights of Fez:
The Royal Palace Gate in Fes, a majestic gateway dating back to the 14th century, known for its impressive marble, copper, and mosaic design, and as one of the oldest and largest palaces in the region.
Stop for stunning views at the Jewish Quarter, built in the 1430s. Nestled near the Royal residences, this area was once a safe haven for the city’s Jewish community, making it Morocco’s first “Mellah” (Jewish quarter).
Next, visit the Ibn Danan Synagogue, one of the oldest and most important in North Africa. Built in the 17th century, this simple yet beautiful structure features a wooden ceiling and a plaster-coated exterior that visitors love.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Janan Sabil Garden, Borj Nord, and Bab Boujloud (the Blue Gate), all offering a unique perspective of Fez’s stunning landscape.
