Highlights of the Tour
The tour begins between 08:30 and 09:30 with a pickup from your hotel. The first stop is the charming village of Imouzzer, famous for its September Apple Festival. Here, you’ll see Berber families living peacefully in caves.
On your way, you’ll pass the stunning Lake Dait Aoua, one of Morocco’s most picturesque lakes, surrounded by lush oak and cedar forests. It’s a great spot for a short break and some amazing photos.
Ifrane – Little Switzerland
The journey continues to Ifrane, also known as “Little Switzerland.” Built in 1930, this alpine village is a popular tourist destination. You’ll visit sites like Al Akhawayn University and the iconic stone lion. Take a relaxing walk through Ifrane’s flower-lined streets and enjoy its French-inspired architecture. Whether covered in winter snow or offering a cool summer retreat, Ifrane never disappoints.
After lunch from 12:30 to 13:30 at a local restaurant, the tour continues through a scenic cedar forest to a national park, home to playful Barbary apes. Enjoy some time observing these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat.
Next, you’ll explore Azrou, a Berber village at the heart of Morocco. Experience traditional Berber life as you watch local artisans grinding flour, working with wood, and upholstering. You’ll also visit a Berber family living in a cave who will offer you tea and share stories about their culture and traditions.
The tour ends with a return to your hotel in Fez between 17:00 and 18:00, leaving you with unforgettable memories and new adventures to look forward to.
